Our favorite restaurant for years. Super friendly and courteous & our wedding 2020 was also perfectly organized & - as always - tasted great. The playground for the kids around the corner & the large beer garden & the great food & the motivated wait staff: always perfect. ♡ Even Togo food currently beats other restaurants by far. Decorated so nicely & at home, the fries are still crispy. Just perfect. Our number 1 shop 😋😘

Very tasty food. We went to the motorhome dinner during the lockdown and look forward to the regular open again.

The Birkel family and their team are super friendly. The rooms are large and furnished in a suitable country style. The food is awesome! Hasn't had such a good sauerbraten in a long time Always my pleasure

A very friendly team who serve you really delicious food! Rural pub atmosphere with modern dishes. In my opinion, the prices are absolutely justified. Onion roast should definitely be tried! Hammer! It's just a shame that the Kaiserschmarrn was no longer available, but we'll eat it another time😉.

Friendly as always and good quality food. Products from the region. The menu could be a little more extensive for the starters. Reservations are always helpful and especially important on weekends.

Was there for the first time, but definitely not the last time. The onion roast was awesome and so was the Kaiserschmarren

Carp crispy with cheese spaetzle (that's what I wanted. It's not on the menu). Just delicious and to the point. Big portion. Finished pretty quickly. Price performance top. You can repeat it at any time.

An inn that rightly bears the name GASTHOF. Even in the current situation, always 100% on the guest. The extremely tasty dishes are unparalleled. The best inns are not found in the big cities, in the rather modest country you can get the best food at a fair price

Friendly staff, large garden, very good food, prices and portions match. Not to forget there are GLUTEN-FREE DISHES! Everything just fits

We went to eat on recommendation. The holiday soup was very good, then came the second course - disappointing. And that with an original Wiener Schnitzel. I could no longer imagine anything about the calf; the meat was seared to death and that for a proud price of almost 19 euros. The price / performance ratio leaves a lot to be desired. The dessert was ok.

The food was excellent here, friendly service, good and seasonal selection. Only the wasps were disturbing, but the host can't help that

We were here a few years ago on a bicycle holiday. Lovely place, good food and friendly staff; highly recommended! It was funny that we couldn’t find it at first because someone had suggested this place to us over the phone, and we (being Dutch) had falsely understood the name “Landgasthof Peter Birkel” as being spelled like “Landgasthof Pöter Bürgl” 😂

Great food, good portions and the staff is extremely friendly. We really like to eat there, the atmosphere is cozy and even big celebrations are beautiful here. Even in these times, you can still relax and enjoy an excellent menu to pick up and even bring your own pots and bowls!

To take away too !:) Super delicious food I can recommend the onion roast beef that is the absolute hit here and you can always eat it there. Meat from regional farming has to be added. Great taste. Professional and trained staff. A high standard is lived here.

Great place food was good but a little expensive

There were six of us on a Saturday night here! The ambiance is pleasant and the waiters (inside) were polite and dedicated. The food was just great! The menu features regional Franconian dishes and home-style cuisine at reasonable prices in decent portions. There are also children's and dessert menus, game and fish dishes too! Great restaurant!
